From site: The Empowerment Center is the social service outreach arm of El Shaddai Christian Ministries. We diverts tons of food each year from the sanitary landfill to thousands of families and homeless who would otherwise go hungry. Over the last two decades, we’ve also been instrumental in putting people to work, diverting them from homelessness, and restoring individuals to self-sufficiency.

A Mutual Aid Network that offers support to the community in a variety of ways, including food, transportation, and more. As it is run 100% by volunteers, please check the site for current information and/or upcoming events.

Counseling and support for students and families in the Tacoma school district to ensure educational stability, including school supplies, transportation, and school breakfast and lunch.

From site: We partner with the Emergency Food Network and several area farms to provide fresh, healthy food. We also have a home delivery program for those unable to come to the Pantry.

Dedicated to transforming lives through aging and long-term support, behavioral health, vocational rehabilitation, and economic services to keep people healthy, safe, and supported.
